Hello, Commander.

I am the founder of Inter-planet Trading Corporation. You have been chosen for this mission to explore a gas giant located 4000 light years away from Earth. Your goal is to reach 15000km below its surface. There is a long way to go. With the control panel above, you can conduct the exploration light years away.  Make sure you read the following instructions before you start!!!

Your spacecraft has 5 major parameters. Heat Resistance, Pressure Resistance, Mass, Radius, Max Amount of Layers.

Heat Resistance: it can be calculated by Number of Heat Resistant Layers * Heat Resistance of an Individual Layer. When the surrounding temperature is higher than the heat resistance, your spacecraft will start losing health.

Pressure Resistance: it can be calculated by Number of Pressure Resistant Layers * Pressure Resistance of an Individual Layer. When the surrounding pressure is higher than the pressure resistance, your spacecraft will start losing health.

Max Amount of Layers: You can customize how many of each type of layer you want to have. However, the total number of layers has to be smaller than this number.

Mass and Radius: They are both determined by the number of layers you have. The more layers you have, the higher the mass and the radius. Higher mass will result in a higher max falling speed. A higher radius will result in a slower falling speed and a slower max falling speed.

Your spacecraft also contains 3 other components which you will unlock as you upgrade your spacecraft. Parachute, Pressure Shield, and Rocket.

Parachute: It increases the radius of your spacecraft and slows down the falling speed. It is useful when the fast falling speed is causing you too much frictional heat.

Pressure Shield: It multiplies the pressure resistance by a factor. It is useful when you are dealing with high pressure.

Rocket: It pushs your spacecraft downward. When you are deep under the surface, the density of your surroundings will become very high and you will eventually stop falling. Use it to keep pushing forward.

You have made an astonishing game. it seemed complex at first but I got its flow and wanted to finish it. 

The mechanics are interesting and I like the upgrade system you made. I like how you mixed the mechanics and the storytelling as you progress through the game.

The gameplay has its good parts but I feel its kinda slow even though we have the timeflow buttons. When I got to the hydrogen level part the speed got really slow which would make the player bored ( i don't know if i made some mistake or forgot to add something to the rocket because i didn't have the trust yet).

And I think I found a bug. When I started some playtroughs with made upgrades and the rocket exploded at 0 meters so i had to restart a few times.

You have made a very good game!

Thank you for playing. When you are slowing down a lot, you probably need to unlock the rocket and upgrade it. It should provide enough speed. I will try to fix the bugs you mentioned. Perhaps it is because you have every layer as a heat or pressure layer. The health is caclated by the following:

if(temperature > resistance) health -= (temperature - resistance) / resistance * Time.fixedDeltaTime

So if you resistance is 0, health will be subtracted by infinity, which is why you die at 0 km.

Great game! the gameplay is addicting and the story makes me stay. i wonder if there is another ending if i play it fast enough though...

Sorry, there is only one ending for now. Maybe I will create another one after the game jam ends.
